Who you are: 

An experienced accounting professional, who enjoys a routine and working on projects. You are detail-oriented and understand the relationship between the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows. 

About the role: 

As Nectar’s Sr. Accountant, you will take over the preparation of weekly and monthly management reporting (DPT Report, SPL Report, et al), submitting accurately and in a timely manner. Specifically, you would be responsible for: 

  • Establish excellent rapport with the Accounting Team and cross-functionally at Nectar.
  • Become the subject matter expert for multiple areas such as Internal Controls, FP&A, Real Estate, Tax, Financial Reporting.
  • Become a liaison between the company and its tax professionals and perform various tax compliance tasks with accuracy and timeliness. Create a calendar of tax tasks and due dates for planning purposes.
  • Take on additional projects to create capacity within the team at the work product preparer-level

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Accounting degree with a firm understanding gained from experience. Understands accrual accounting.
  • Experience in and comfortable with project-based roles AND routine accounting. Organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency with Excel and data.
  • Clear writing style for SOP and instructions
