We are looking for a Field Sales Representative who will join our Hawthorne team in the Northeast region

 

Combination of inside sales and coordinator responsibilities.  Executes sales initiatives and follow-ups with retailers and cultivators.  This position will be in the field and must be available for on-site visits. They are the secondary face to the customers

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Expected to be on site with both growers and retailers when directed and required

  • Outbound sales calling and customer contact focus - dial for dollars 

  • Weekly follow up calls with cultivators and retail customers to check in on them and educate them on Hawthorne products and services

  • Contacts customers with current promotions and new product launches 

  • Customer Service conduit for complex issues 

  • Represents the company at customer events, grand openings, and trade shows 

  • Utilize sales and trends to create proposals/opportunities for ASM

  • Oversee execution of projects for ASM for end-to-end customer experience

  • Provides email and phone support for the ASM

  • Submit new store applications, credit requests, pricing allowances, and term change requests.

  • Assists the ASM with customer quoting

  • Salesforce entry to record customer interactions  

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • 3 years sales experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred

  • Cultivation or industry experience preferred

  • Outstanding communication and time management skills

  • Strong computer skills required, including Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Docs, Excel, and Salesforce or equivalent
